Preferential justice
Preferential justice
“All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others”
When these more equal animals are involved in a criminal act the law becomes deaf, dumb, and blind. The Nigerian police and other law enforcement agencies are only interested in punishing the innocent and leaving the criminals to go Scot free.
This reminds me of the day robbers invaded Imo state capital Owerri; they had a field day robbing many banks without so much as a single reasonable challenge from the police. After the robbery the police went on air to announce how their gallant fight with the robbers prevented the robber from taking anything. Days later they caught students allegedly initiating their fellow students into cultism. Rumors mills started churning, claiming that they have caught all the robbers that robbed Owerri.
Every indigene of the state knows the truth but if you make as much noise as to say it you are in trouble.
They didn’t catch any robber and may never catch any robber but an innocent man or anybody that commit anything like felony will be used as a scapegoat to save face.
A person like Bola Ige was killed when all the police orderly decided to go for dinners at the same time. Till date the killer of the man are still roaming the state free.
The Nigerian law is like a cobweb that catches only the small insects when the big birds comes it destroys both the cobweb and the spider.
If you doubt me then tell me what the Nigerian police, EFCC, senate, house of rep and the presidency are doing about this hide and seek Senator Obasanjo Bello is playing with Nigeria. Talk about he who pays the piper.
Please if una wan fuck up make una kuku do am. But stop insulting the sensibility of the Nigerian public and the world at large. We know that you want to stand justice on her head to make sure she doesn’t see the walls of kirikiri prison where she should have been remanded since. To tell us that she is at large is the greatest lie you can tell. Why don’t you set a price on her head? Why don’t you publish it in all papers and electronic media in
Anyway it is not the best treatment for the former president’s daughter and mentor of the present president. If na me steal maggi if you see the way police go beat me eh!!! Calling me a criminal!! Any way I am not a thief and will never be one.
Why is it that the Nigerian law only lives in dusty pages of books? Why is the corruption war only to shut up and witch hunt those perceived as enemies of the high and mighty? Why is the ancient comic general i.e. the Nigerian police and her sister the EFCC turning the corruption war into a farce? Who are they really deceiving?
Let’s call a spade a spade. Senator Obasanjo Bello should be made to face the music like other suspects in the N300 million ministry health scam. Anything short of that is preferential justice. To me preferential justice is plain injustice.
Personally, I have lost confidence in EFCC as it is presently constituted. They have lost the moral authority to question fraudsters when they are fraudulent themselves. aiding and abetting alleged fraudster like Senator Obasanjo Bello.
I have also lost confidence in the David Mark led senate. There is a saying that those that came through the back door will always act like gatecrashers.
